The running bond of the masonry wall and the allignment of the windows suggests to me that this is a wood frame construction of the balloon frame type with brick vaneer.flames showing on second floor lapping out window and appears into third floor window both on side A."room and contenets"? can't say for sure from here.priority, search second and third floors from fire area out, concern to search secondary means egress on side C.expopsures side B,D ADJOINING.secondary search to exposures B,D ONE CHARGED LINE ALREADY INTERIOR SIDE A SECOND FLOOR AND SECOND LINE ENTERING.ADDITIOINAL: FIRE IS DAYTIME, IN SUMMER, WINDOWS OPEN,LEAVES AS OTHERS HAVE STATED AND A/C UNIT HANGING IN WINDOW.YOUR TRUCK COMPANY IS PROBABLY ON SIDE C OR THE REAR OF THE FIRE BUILDING FOR SECOND EGRESS FOR INTERIOR TEAM {PROTECT YOUR OWN FIRST}AND ASSIST IN PRIMARY SEARCH PROBABLY ABOVE FIRE FLOOR ON THIRD.Strike second alarm if not already done.second in truck co. to roof for extension in balloon frame type constr.and verticle vetilate smoke and heat from cockloft.in coming second water supply and r.i.t. if not established.of course i'm just guessing at the overall picture here. The heavy flame light smoke suggests to me a hot burning fire.not necessarily an excellerant"orange flame" just well ventilated and burning free.i would bet for sure you'll find fire on third floor.that whole second floor appartment is fully involved.that's what i see.this does not appear as platform type construction don't bet on fire stops between floors.
