Ladder Company 112 Brooklyn

Ladder Company 112 started out as Ladder Company 12 in The Brooklyn Fire Department on November 20, 1893.

On October 1, 1899 it was reorganized to Ladder 62.

It was reorganized on January 1, 1913 to the current Ladder 112.

This photo was taken in 1907 in the old quarters of Ladder 62 at1171 Madison street Brooklyn.

The rig behind them is an 1892 La France with a 75 foot Hayes aerial. The rigs registration number was number 139.
