Battalion 17 was reorganized on 11/16/98 under the Command of Captain J.R. Rivera.
The Executive Officer is Lieutenant Gerard Santiago. We have 7 BLS units assigned. These are 17A, 17B 17C, 19E, 19F, 19A and 19B.There is one Paramedic Unit assigned: 19W. The patrol supervisor is designated C17. It is interesting to note we are housed in the former quarters of E68. Also the Code 3 collectible FDNY ambulance is modeled after 19B's unit (Vehicle #122)
