Just remember, buffs and collectors, because of your enthusiasm for firfighting paraphanalia, our gear and clothing have taken on some value, and as a result some of us have been the victim of thieves. So, after you purchase something, or even before, at least ASK how the seller came across it. I lost my original company front shield to a "buff" who used to ride with us. (USED to!!) And my father lost HIS original front shield as well. So, take heed. The thing you buy today might have been stolen yesterday.
